Golfing is almost as ubiquitous as the sea on this island nation. You are never further than one hour from a golf course – and in Wellington, that shrinks to just minutes – and all are easily accessible with a car rental from Hertz at Wellington Airport. Golf courses in New Zealand offer good value for money and an array of beautiful environments, including some quite unusual courses. From small rural clubs to premium courses, this is a dream golfing destination. The dress code is generally standard across courses – collared shirts and golf shoes with socks.
